Tightening bolts too tightly: During the disassembly and assembly process of excavators, many parts of the bolts have specified torque requirements, such as the gearbox, cylinder head, wheel hub, connecting rod, and front axle. The tightening torque is specifically specified in the manual and must not be changed arbitrarily. However, many users mistakenly believe that tightening is safer, but tightening too tightly can cause screws or bolts to break, and may also cause malfunctions due to thread slippage.

High tire pressure: The tire inflation pressure of a tire excavator is an important factor in determining its service life and work efficiency. Excessive or insufficient tire pressure can affect its service life and also be detrimental to safe driving, especially in hot summer weather. The scientific inflation standard should be based on the standard tire pressure, with slight adjustments to the tire pressure as the temperature changes. For example, summer should be 5% -7% lower than winter, because considering the high temperature in summer, the gas is heated and the pressure increases. On the contrary, in winter, it is necessary to reach the standard pressure or slightly lower.

Add cold water immediately when the water tank is boiling: Overloaded engine operation, poor heat dissipation, or water shortage in the water tank can all cause the water tank to boil. If cold water is added immediately at this time, it will cause the cylinder head and cylinder block to explode. Therefore, once the water tank is found to be boiling during use, emergency measures should be taken to stop the operation and allow the cooling water of the diesel engine to cool down on its own.

Avoid adding engine oil without changing it: Engine oil is essential in the use of diesel engines, mainly for lubrication, cooling, cleaning, and other purposes. Therefore, many drivers pay attention to checking the amount of lubricating oil and adding it according to standards, but neglect the quality inspection of lubricating oil and the replacement of deteriorated engine oil, resulting in some engine moving parts always operating in poor lubrication environment, thereby accelerating the wear of various parts.

Under normal circumstances, the loss of engine oil is not significant, but it is easily contaminated and loses its protective function for diesel engines. During the operation of a diesel engine, many pollutants (such as soot, carbon deposits, and fouling generated by incomplete fuel combustion) will enter the engine oil. For new or overhauled machinery, there will be more impurities after trial operation. If it is quickly put into use without replacement, it is easy to cause accidents such as tile burning and shaft holding.

In addition, even if the engine oil is changed, some drivers may not thoroughly clean the oil passage due to lack of maintenance experience or to save trouble, resulting in mechanical impurities still remaining in the oil pan and oil circuit.
