Filter Maintenance Precautions

1. Component Matching Requirements

   
   

       ✅Only genuine filters compatible with the vehicle model and engine type shall be selected, with filtration precision meeting the original manufacturer's standards (usually 10~20μm for gasoline vehicles, 3~5μm for diesel vehicles). Low-quality filters will cause insufficient fuel supply and abrasion of fuel injectors by impurities.<br><br>

       ✅For diesel vehicles, special filters with water-oil separation function shall be selected, and shall not be replaced by gasoline filters.<br><br>

    2. Operation Safety Taboos<br><br>

       ✅Open flames and smoking are strictly prohibited during the replacement process. Residual fuel shall be properly collected and shall not be dumped arbitrarily.<br><br>

       ✅The replacement of built-in filters requires disassembly of the fuel tank or fuel pump assembly, with complex structure. It is recommended to operate at a professional maintenance shop to avoid damage to the fuel level sensor or fuel pump.<br><br>

   3. Related Supporting Maintenance<br><br>

      ✅When replacing the filter, it is recommended to check the status of the fuel pump and clean the impurities at the bottom of the fuel tank at the same time. If the fuel is seriously polluted, the fuel circuit shall be cleaned synchronously.<br><br>

      ✅Choose regular gas stations when refueling to avoid low-quality fuel accelerating filter clogging. Compliant fuel cleaners can be used regularly to reduce gum deposition.<br><br>
